"Portman Designs – SIMPLY AMAZING.
Earlier this year, Zack was a vendor at an event that I ran for my synagogue. At the time, I loved his work, but had no pressing need for his beautiful items, so I filed his company in the back of my mind. Fast forward 6 months or so, I was looking for that perfect gift for my great nephew’s first birthday. I could give his Dad (my nephew) a cheque, but I knew if I could think of something special for his first born, it would be appreciated so much more….Portman Designs. I wanted a wooden train, personalized. I knew what I wanted, and when I approached Zack, he had no idea what I wanted. We worked together, my image, his ingenuity and he designed and produced a spectacular keepsake – a Judaic themed personalized wooden train.
